Down Syndrome Students Are Stars At Their Teacher’s Wedding Ceremeny

A special education teacher melted hearts of thousands of people in the world.

Kinsey French teaches at the Christian Academy Providence School, which specializes in speech and occupational therapy for children with Down syndrome.

The teacher, from Louisville, Kentucky, wanted to have the children at her side at her wedding. They were like family to me.  They were my first class and they’ve been my only class and so I knew I couldn’t have a special day without them”.

The school Mrs French teaches at wrote on Facebook: “What an exciting morning for our Providence students! WLKY News Reporter Christina Mora visited Rock Creek to interview our Providence students and their teacher Kinsey French for a story on Kinsey’s wedding and the story of how the Providence School is such an important piece of her story.

“Kinsey and her husband Josh are alumni of Christian Academy and in every detail from her engagement to all the way down the aisle, her students showed support and love.

“Be looking tonight or tomorrow night as they tell a sweet story and highlight our Providence School.”
